He started his career at Ticketmaster and later worked for other companies in the ticket space. Since 1989, he has navigated AllShows.com “through many industry changes from a time where cellphones were rare and the internet was barely recognized to the current landscape.”
“Over the last year I have worked closely with USMTG on legislative issues related to the ticketing industry, especially in New York, where as partners we were able to craft a bill which ended up being more favorable to ticket brokers than we had hoped,” Berger said. “I am excited to join this organization to build on that partnership and success.”
Berger is highly respected in the ticket industry and enthusiastically recommended by his customers, who consistently describe him as being “one of the most professional, friendly, and by far BEST-CONNECTED ticket brokers in the city. He is a leading expert in (consistently) securing the absolute best tickets to concerts, Broadway, and sporting events, and has been able to secure better seats than other vendors.”
Berger is also the co-founder and leader of the Coalition for Ticket Fairness – NY, a group formed to fight for event ticket owner’s rights to have the ability to resell, transfer, or gift their ticket for an event in New York, without the venue’s ability to prohibit those rights. Their motto, “Once you purchase a ticket, it’s yours. You should be allowed to resell, gift, or transfer, with no restrictions.”
He is considered by many as an expert in the industry and is frequently asked to take part in trade events, recently participating as a panelist on several workshops at Ticket Summit 2018, which took place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas last week.
Berger is based in New York but provides ticketing services nationally.
